We got the call on April 10 that a family was coming and we were challenged to have their apartment furnished and ready for them on April 11.

Preparing to help a family resettle

St. Michael’s and partner church Grosse Pointe Congregational have collected enough furniture and other items to furnish a two-bedroom apartment. The furniture is in storage, as we await the time when we will be able to welcome a refugee family to their new home and new life.
