Join us at St. Michael’s as we celebrate Ash Wednesday, the first of the forty days of Lent.

This special day is named for the custom of placing blessed ashes on the foreheads of worshipers during Ash Wednesday services. A sign of penitence and a reminder of mortality, the ashes are a fitting tradition to mark the beginning of Lent.
